Membership

Membership and pricing structure:

How to become a member?

As a UM student, you can become a member by paying $10 yearly membership dues. You will enjoy:

    1. $5 off on regular lesson series
    2. $10 off festival full passes only if holding a HY or a FY pass during a festival.
    3. Eligibility to run and vote for MATC executive board.
    4. Preference over non-members for private lessons

Non- UM students can apply for membership online. Since UM student clubs have to maintain a certain ratio of students to non-students, not all applications will result in membership. The registration officer will inform you about your membership status depending upon availability. As a member you enjoy:

    1. $5 off on regular lesson series
    2. Eligibility to run and vote for MATC executive board.
    3. Preference over non-members for private lessons.

Full and Half year passes

Beginning in 2013, full year and half year passes are available for everyone interested in becoming a member. UM-Students who pay the membership application fee will immediately become a member and can purchase a half year or full year pass. Depending on the number of student members, we may not be able to offer membership to all non-students and non-UM students who apply for membership. However, applying for membership and paying the yearly fee will enable them to purchase full year and half year passes at the same rate as members. This is the case even if they are not offered membership because of our constraints.

Pricing Structure

$75 (cost of all lesson series for a half year) - $60 (Half year pass + membership fee) = $15 (Saved)

Non UM students and non-students gain access to all the regular events of the club (not festivals, workshops and other special events), you will be saving,

$210 (cost of all lesson series for a year) - $150 (Full year pass + membership fee) = $60 (Saved)
